We are looking for a highly motivated bachelor's or master's student (M/F/d) with an entrepreneurial mindset to help us with a small work package in developing our medical device.

You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for segmenting medical images, learn new analytical methods in the process, and improve your scientific way of working.

We will support you on your way.

This short and sweet Semesterarbeit will focus on segmenting CT-images obtained from our animal trial.

Your job would be, using tools of your choice, to segment kidney stones in these CT-images, quantify their volumes and measure the impact of the medical device.

How can you help us?

  • Planning, execution and documentation of CTsegmentation of kidney stones in 5 animal models and quantification of operation success.
  • Bring in your ideas and give us feedback too
Whom are we looking for?

  • High interest and motivation to work in MedTech or similar fields
  • Studies background or current study experience in segmenting DICOM images would be beneficial. Study program is irrelevant. You are free to choose your DICOM viewer and segmentation tools.
  • Good analytical and conceptual capabilities
  • Independent and selfreliant working style
  • English or German business fluent (all our documentation is done in English, we speak both German and English at work)
  • Not afraid to make mistakes and try again. We will help you along the way.
