Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the
Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (
LOGCAP). KBR's enduring mission support of the
LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract's original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.


Job Summary
Ensures the timely receipt, issue and tracking of repair parts and supplies. Maintains dedicated parts, requisitions replenishment items, and receives parts using an approved US Army STAMIS system GCSS-ARRMY Maintenance module.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Requests, receives, verifies, issues parts and supplies to customer.
  • Reviews and assess parts and supply processes and replenishes shop stock as required.
  • Turns in recoverable and excess parts.
  • Opens and closes work orders as well as inputs labor man hours into GCSS-Army system Uses various material handling devices (4k, 6k, 10k forklifts and pallet jacks).
  • Performs various daily, weekly, and quarterly inventories, establishes, and maintains shop stock and bench stock.
  • Maintains records and provides traceability of documentation.
  • Ensures that the work area is always maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Submits Reports and Action Requests as required.
  • Creates detailed daily, weekly, and biweekly reports for tracking materials received and accepted.
  • Responsible for all indoor and outdoor part locations, ensuring that all items are stored, and maintenance properly.
  • Participates in the Company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and Quality Control programs.
  • Complies with all Company rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Complies with all KBR Zero Harm safety guidelines and absolutes, environmental and quality standards and applicable COPs and DOPs.
  • Provides accountability and proper care of all Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Furnished Equipment.
  • Favorably interacts with internal/external customers and fellow employees.
  • Will be required, on an as needed basis, to assist to perform functions in alternate areas of the project.
  • May be required to work on uncommon hours of duty, extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires at least 2.5 years of verifiable office/warehouse experience.
  • Must have at least 2.5 years verifiable inventory and/or stock order/replenishment experience.
  • At least 3 years in current United States military supply system management GCSS-ARMY Maintenance Module is required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a NACI.
  • Must have completed the Common Core and Supply Support Activity business area of GCSS-Army Training and Certification system (GTRAC).
  • Requires at least 2.5 years of verifiable Microsoft Office Suite/EDGE, Excel, Word Doc and PowerPoint experience.
  • Must be able to use and operate personal computers with database and spreadsheet software, accurately input data and be capable of operating in an automated supply environment.
  • Must be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC) to perform to Government requirement.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to forty pounds unassisted.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, crawl and climb as necessary to perform job functions using proper techniques and PPE for extended periods of time.
  • Must be free of medical restriction/limitations that prevent the performance of required duties and/or prevent the wearing and utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be physically capable of performing the work in conditions of extreme temperatures, low humidity, rain and blowing sand and dust.
  • Employees shall utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices associated with all lifting and material handling tasks that are assigned and associated with this job description.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a military operator's permit for each type of vehicle or equipment required to operate.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • 3 or more years Mechanical parts experience.
  • Should understand and be able to use Technical Manuals.
