This position can be occupied in Germany (Aurich, Bremen) or any other location in Germany with the willingness to regularly attend the head quarter in Aurich.

Ihre Aufgaben:

Manage and continuously develop the team of currently 7 team members working in the global function and in the operational area (production)
Set guidelines or benchmarks for the company's environmental area and ensure company's compliance with environmental statutory obligations
Develop, lead or supervise projects in the area of environment (e.g. recycling, circular economy, etc.)
Identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement and prepare recommendations to senior management
Liaising with external bodies as well as representing ENERCON at selected external related working groups, forums or meetings

Ihre Qualifikationen:

Degree with focus on environment, e. g. environmental management, environmental engineering, environmental science or equivalent
Technical understanding of key environment and sustainability topics with relevant experience (e.g. hazardous substances, dangerous goods, waste management)
Well developed leadership skills
Fluent verbal and written communication in German and English
Ability to present complex topics and concepts simply to a broad audience and to work autonomously or collaboratively with strict confidentiality
