Soon you will be independently responsible for material groups and their purchasing conditions.
The execution of price and contract negotiations on an international level is part of your tasks.
At the same time, you will identify market trends as well as innovations.
Development and implementation of purchasing strategies as well as execution of cost reduction potentials as well as "makeorbuy" analyses are your field of activity.
Your daily tasks include managing international supplier relationships and supplier development.
You will act as a support for the international purchasing activities of the DAIKIN Group and as a team member in the European Commodity "Heatings".
Continuous improvement of purchasing relevant processes make your daily work exciting.

This will heat us up:

Completed studies in the field of engineering, industrial engineering or business administration
Several years of sound professional experience in technical purchasing in a manufacturing company
Distinct negotiation skills, assertiveness, good communication skills, intercultural competence and ability to work in a team
Analytical, structured and solutionoriented way of working based on great initiative
Good command of written and spoken English and German
Confident handling of SAP R/3 as well as MS Office programs
