As Scientist Electrolyzer Technocenter Hanau (M/F/d) / Head of Electrolyzer Technocenter Hanau (M/F/d) you are the expert to lead the CRD activities in the field of PEM/AEM catalyst development and build up and later operate the testing and characterization of the PEM/AEM catalysts.
You will support in building up and later lead a new team of specialist to develop the next generation of Electrolyzer Catalysts in Umicore in close collaboration and exchange with Business Units, New Business Incubator and external partners and institutes.
Who we are looking for
- Master's degree in electrochemistry, phD and / or postDoc is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years working experience Experience in the PEM/AEM/ Fuel Cells environment (university, institute, company)
- Recognized expert within electrocatalysis
- Experience in planning of test devices for PEM/AEM and executing the rollout until they are operational is a plus
- Understand IP mechanics, funding, R&D contracting and confidentiality matters
- Ability to lead a team
- Communication skills
- English skills is a must, Dutch and / or German is a plus
- Mobility
