Your main tasks:

You will develop assays to determine enzyme activities.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for the experimental execution of various analytical methods, such as the photometrical determination of enzyme activities, DNA and protein gel electrophoresis.
You will carry out microbiological, biochemical and genetic engineering work with the aim of optimizing enzyme expression in microorganisms.
You will perform experiments for the development and optimization of enzymatic and fermentative production processes including downstream recovery on a small scale.
You develop detection methods for the quantification of microorganisms and organic substances.

Your profile:

Education: completed training as a laboratory technician, technical assistant (M/F/d) or a degree in the field of life sciences (bachelor's, master's or diploma)
Experience: ideally, you already have some experience in one of the abovementioned areas of responsibility
Way of working: solutionoriented, committed und conscientious
Personality: motivated, curious, teamplayer
Languages: good written and spoken German and English skills
