Your tasks:

We are looking for a young professional Business Developer to join our team Environmental Markets Business Development.

Together with the team members your challenge is not only to drive forward the EEXs environmental market segment, but also to focus on the development of the voluntary carbon markets, to identifying new business opportunities or refining existing products & services.

Beside these topics you will monitor the regulatory and compliance related topics and policies arising from new development in the market in line with our internal guidelines and frameworks.

Therefore, you will be in close contact with internal stakeholders, colleagues from different teams and external business partners and clients.

The goal is to consider all services across the value chain and market segments, analyze business ideas, transferring them into concepts and support the implementation of new products and services with your knowledge.

After all, we value the exchange of ideas, being there for each other and encouraging each other to become better.

You bring along:

Degree in energy management, engineering, economics, finance or business administrations
First experience in environmental, energy and/or financial markets of benefit
Business acumen and a profound interest in traded markets e.g. knowledge on the functioning of futures and options is of benefit
Interest in working in a dynamic, international and multicultural environment required
Ability to work in teams, good communication skills
Solid organizational skills, project management skills of benefit
Good knowledge of English is required
