Ideally, this role is based in Berlin, however, a remote contract within Germany is also possible.

The Role

We are growing our finance team and are now looking for a
Senior Accountant (x/f/m) to join our exciting growth journey and help us streamline and improve our current accounting processes.

The successful person will have responsibility for supporting all parts of our financial reporting and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and annual individual financial statements of SellerX group entities (including commentary)
Oversee bank postings, fixed assets, A/P, A/R, and own complex topics like revenue recognition and inventory measurement (including multicurrency accounts)
Assist in the consolidation of KW subgroup
Implement and improve existing processes
Assist in preparation of tax filings and other statutory audits
Manage audit requests by preparing reconciliations and supporting documents

Your Background

To join our team you bring along:

Sound knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting policies and European tax rules
4+ years of accounting either within an accounting practice environment or within a commercial setting
Ecommerce or manufacturing related experience is preferred
Certificates in accounting (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter) are a big plus
Fluent German is a requirement
