WHAT YOU'LL DO:


In this role, which could be described best as a sort of "secretary for domestic affairs", you will be responsible for all internal tasks which help the team of four counselors providing career advisory to current and former consultants in Central Europe, including counseling, coaching and support during the job search and transition processes.


Your specific tasks will be:

  • Being first touchpoint for all counselors in Central Europe re. organization, structuring, and administration
  • Coordinating and supporting all running counseling and placement projects in Central Europe, e.g.
  • Labor Market Monitoring
  • Data entry, monitoring and analysis
  • Posting job leads in and taking care of BCG's internal global job database
  • Monitoring of market trends, innovative channels, tools, and apps, as well as of job boards and databases; new ways of working innovations
  • Helping to integrate and to align the Career Services processes and activities in Central Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, and Hungary) into Central Europe
  • Arranging weekly calls to review progress of alignment
  • Marketing activities, e.g.
  • Career Services newsletter and webcast
  • Input for BCG Alumni Newsletter
  • Organizing Alumni trainings, career workshops and networking dinners
  • Supporting re. media relations and social media presence of Career Services
  • Preparing and conducting X-Mas
- and birthday mailings

  • Video/Podcast production support
  • Controlling, e.g.
  • Monitoring and data analysis of Career Services KPI tool
  • Checking monthly invoices into KPI Sheet
  • Supporting Head of Career Services in budgeting and planning activities
  • Preparation of (strategy) meetings
Your excellent communication skills will make it easy for you.

Using your strong service orientation, you will optimize, revise, and further develop our tools, Sharepoint site and farewell survey for departing colleagues.

You will also be responsible for continuously updating our collection of materials, studies, and articles on career planning and development.


Overall, it will be your job to ensure frictionless, professional, and discreet support for the career advisory of our CS counselors; all activities in compliance with European GDPR law and to act as a first point of contact for data protection and privacy.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):


  • You have a degree from a college or university, optimally with a specialization in business psychology or HR management.
  • Ideally, you have relevant experience of approximately 1 to 2 years in new placement, executive search, coaching, and/or management appraisals, or any other HR field.
  • You're proficient in the MS Office suite.
  • Your written and spoken German and English is excellent.

YOU'LL WORK WITH:


You'll be part of a highly motivated team of five that has worked well together for years, consisting of the Consulting Career Services Senior Director, three Career Services (Senior) Managers, a Career Services Assistant, and yourself.

The team's collaboration has always been characterized by respect, acceptance, and mutual trust.

In addition, you will be in close contact with the team leaders of the other HR departments, enabling you to draw on your colleagues' experience at any time.

Through these various interfaces, you'ֹll gain interesting insights into all areas of HR (recruiting, career development, learning and development, etc.).

You'll report to the Global Alumni Strategy & Engagement Director, and dotted line to the Central Europe Consulting Career Services Senior Director, who will be there for you during your orientation phase and support you in your professional development.
