Your new role


As our new Environment and Consents Lead (m/w/d), you will contribute to meeting the ever-growing demand for renewable energy solutions through innovative Power-to-X projects.

Working both within Germany and internationally, we ensure that we remain at the absolute forefront of our field and always strive to innovate.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee environmental impact assessments for proposed projects, identifying potential environmental risks and impacts
  • Ensure that project proposals comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations, permits, and standards.
  • Implement the strategic direction of our EIA team across Germany for the forthcoming market growth.
  • Support the strategic thinking around expansion into wider global markets e.g. Green Hydrogen, Green Methanol, Green Ammonia, Biofuels, Wind & Solar
  • Manage and lead various projects in the pipeline and support strategic leadership of the wider EIA team.

Your new team
You will be part of the Power-to-X Department.


As our new Environment and Consents Lead (M/F/d) (Germany) you will be part of the management team in our global network of EIA practitioners and the local Power-to-X Team to service the growing demand for renewable energy production and Power-to-X related projects.

You will also be supported by the large existing team based in Germany and abroad to target and grow our portfolio and services.


About you

These include:

  • Well networked in the energy and EIA industry with a proven track record of winning work with a variety of clients in the sector.
  • Experienced in delivering EIA's and be familiar with the relevant Regulations. This experience will ideally (although not essentially) have involved project leadership throughout the project lifecycle from Scoping through to Examination.
  • Experienced in commercial and business management including management and responses to strategic bids, monthly reporting, resourcing and recruitment.
  • A degree (or equivalent), in a relevant environmental discipline, with a strong emphasis on EIA and/or SEA (Strategic Environmental Assessment)
  • Excellent English skills since this is our corporate language. German language is required.
