The "Pedestrian Segment" is part of our company, which acquired a successful medium-sized company from Switzerland three years ago.

With a total of three locations in Germany and around 400 dedicated employees, we are proud to develop and distribute innovative solutions in the field of door automation.


What you would do as our HR Director (M/F/d)


The
HR Director (M/F/d) - for the Pedestrian Segment in Germany will play a key role within the segment's management team and act as HR manager for 3 separate organizations.

The HR Director will work in close collaboration with the Country Business Unit Manager and lead the HR team located in two different business locations across Germany.

The HR Director will also foster synergies by actively collaborating with HR counterparts in other divisions, fostering a cohesive and aligned approach to human resource management across the organization.


You would also:


  • Further develop and implement a holistic, modern, companywide HR strategy to support the company's longterm goals
  • Support managers in all HR and organizational management matters
  • Undertake the professional and disciplinary management and further develop the local HR team at two locations in Germany
  • Coordinate and control HR management together with your HR team
  • Ensure operational HR work including talent management, employee retention and development and manage external service providers in relation to recruiting and payroll
  • Lead change and transformation projects and implement global HR programs to keep the company competitive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Own and secure the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and best practices Ensure trustful cooperation with the works councils

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a master's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a similar field of study
  • Has further training and/or practical experience in change management and organizational development
  • Demonstrates several years of experience in an international corporate environment, including at least 5 years in a managerial role and several years of practical experience in conception and implementation of change and reorganization projects, as well as profound experience in cultural development, talent acquisition and committee work
  • Has excellent communication skills to work effectively with different stakeholders and cultural backgrounds
  • Has strong interpersonal empathetic and listening skills
  • Is highly advanced in problemsolving skills and the ability to sustainably manage longterm change processes
  • Is passionate for creating a positive and people driven company culture and employee engagement
  • Has a handson mentality and willingness to get involved in daytoday operations
  • Has experience in working with people from different countries and cultures


Ideally, you would also be able to maintain unwavering motivation and resilience, demonstrating a proactive mindset and adaptability, especially in situations where outcomes deviate from initial expectations, ensuring sustained dedication to achieving HR objectives.
