Local Unit & Position Description:

The safety and systems engineering unit is responsible for a broad range of services covering environmental compliance, risk assessments, system risk assessments, alternative design assessments including fire safety and system analyses with focus on alternative fuels.

This includes external customer projects as well as internal support and R&D projects.

Student will be supporting projects with respect to safety and feasibility of alternative fuels and energy converter.

Position Qualifications:

Student in naval architecture or comparable engineering study course
Good knowledge of MS Office
Fluent English language skills
Knowledge of German language would be an advantage
First contact with technical risk assessment or system safety would be beneficial
Teamplayer
Independent and structured method of working
Willingness to familiarise with new topics
