ETI, Embedded Systems, we are looking for a researcher as of the at the following conditions:

50% = 19,92 hours
Pay grade 13 TV-L

The job posting is part of the MASON and IOTRAIN research projects aimed at developing energy-efficient, reliable, and real-time wireless communication systems

Your tasks:

Simulative, analytical and experimental integration of novel system concepts or demonstrators in the area of embedded systems.
Development and optimization of algorithms for wireless transmission of realtime critical data, e.g. for mobile robots or industrial systems
Further development and evaluation of innovative and heterogeneous architectures for wireless systems such as WLAN, LoraWAN, NBIoT or cellular radio networks (5G/6G)
Scientific evaluation of specific performance indicators (e.g. data throughput, delay, jitter,...) based on the developed methods and achieved results
Publication in international journals and conference proceedings
Planning, execution and acquisition of research projects in the area of 5G/6G Internet of Things and Industrie 4.0

Your profile:

University degree (Master or comparable) in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
Knowledge of radio systems and their protocols
Programming experience in at least one language (Python, C++)
Good knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
