Banking Operations Team Lead to join our team in

Banking Operations at Holvi


The Banking Operations team is part of our Customer Lifecycle Management function, with a primary focus on managing third-party requests according to existing procedures and to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

As the Team Lead for Banking Operations, the main tasks involve guiding and supporting the team in their daily tasks, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and processes for smooth and efficient operations.

Additionally, the Team Lead acts as the process owner for the area, taking responsibility for improving the team's efficiency through initiatives like updated processes, workflows and automation implementations.


A typical day could see you:


  • Leading our Banking Operations team by overseeing day-to-day operations, conducting regular one-on-one sessions, establishing goals, and providing coaching and mentoring
  • Acting as a
    process owner for tasks such as seizures, insolvencies and requests from authorities. This includes defining, maintaining and implementing procedures in accordance with compliance policies and standards
  • Identifying opportunities for
    process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Performing thorough
    quality reviews on internal processes to guarantee alignment with company policies and procedures

Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify emerging trends

Collecting and analysing data to generate valuable insights and recommendations for informed business decisions

  • Facilitating regular meetings and presentations to discuss and
    showcase the latest trends and team performance

Requirements:


This is for you if you:

  • Have
    +3 years people leadership experience, preferably in back-office operations within the financial industry
  • Have
    indepth knowledge of banking operation processes in the German market, such as ZPO, InsO and AO
  • Enjoy
    leading people and working together with both operational and technical stakeholders
  • Have excellent
    communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Are
    detailoriented, structured and
    love learning new things:
  • Are comfortable with
    travelling 2-4 times / year to the Helsinki office

It's a plus if you:


  • Have
    knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws
  • Have a
    strong understanding of data processing operations:
  • Have
    experience in working with Customer Lifecycle Management such as onboarding, monitoring and offboarding customers
