Corporate Bank Germany

Germany is the biggest location for the Corporate Bank and the only one where we serve the whole spectrum of commercial and corporate clients (specifically also small-cap and mid-cap clients), often in close cooperation with the Private Bank.


DB is starting a major transformation of CB Germany with the objective of (a) bringing parts of our Commercial Banking offering to new countries and (b) moving all of CB Germany onto the banks strategic, globally aligned tech stack and decommissioning any current legacy tech elements.


As a Lead Architect you will develop the technical solution architecture for CB Germany's transformation with focus on enterprise integration.

In this role you will closely cooperate with our Business Analysts and Product Managers.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop an e2e solution architecture for the connection of account ledgers to enterprise services (Finance, Tax, AFC, Treasury)
  • Ensure use of strategic architectural components
  • Consider functional as well as nonfunctional requirements
  • Cooperate closely with your corresponding product teams / tribes / squads and architects

Your skills and experiences

  • Multiple years of experience as (solution) architect, especially in enterprise services
  • Very good understanding of CB Germany architecture
  • Experience in the area of cloudsolutions (GCP) and architecture
  • Pragmatic, structured and solutionoriented ways of working with focus on delivery
  • Ability to work in teams with experience of working in global and partially virtual teams
  • Fluency in English (verbally and written), German is a plus
