- Knowledge expansion : You acquire up-to-date knowledge on the numerical modeling of chemical reactions in sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) plasmas
- Experience research : You calculate electronic reaction rates using existing software ( and obtain computationally-efficient analytical equivalent expressions
- Scientific work : You collect, analyze and compile relevant chemical reactions between heavy particles from the scientific literature
- Scientific experiments : You Implement the time variation of space-averaged compiled chemical reactions using general-propose software ( COMSOL Multiphysics). Furthermore, you execute sensitivity studies to analyze the development of chemical species in SF6 plasmas under different physical conditions
- Scientific writing : You document your results in writing and submitting your Master thesis
- Study field : You are currently studying Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or similar Master programs and have completed all of your exams
- Skills : You have solid knowledge in mathematics and you have a very good understanding of physics
- Interests : You like performing theoretical work and have a strong ambition for computer simulation
- Experience : You are very experienced in writing your own programming code (in MATLAB, Python or other language)You have proved experience (beyond course-work) on computer modeling of physical processesYou ideally gained first experience in COMSOL Multiphysics as a plus
- Personality: You have very good communication skills and organize your work very structured
