Job description:

Requirements:

Highly motivated and ambitious senior scientist with a university degree in veterinary medicine or similar, a PhD and more than 5 years of postdoctoral experience in an international environment
Strong familiarity with and experience in navigating the animal licensing process in Germany as project head or deputy head
Several years of experience with a diversity of experimental systems in cancer biology, including work with chemical carcinogenesis, genetically engineered mouse models, and xenotransplantations
Proven strong interest in developing animal protocols and new in vivo models
Prior experience in negotiating and managing collaborative studies in an diverse and international setting
Experience in team leadership and supervision, including technicians and graduate students
Structured, precise and independent working attitude, an analytical way of thinking and good problemsolving skills
Excellent written and oral skills in English are expected, German language skills are desired
