Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a medical journal from planning to publication within the editorial team.
  • Engage with experts to contribute to articles.
  • Transform raw texts into illustrated content.
  • Cover national and international congresses through words and images.
  • Oversee the production process and collaborate closely with layout, advertising, and online editorial teams.
  • Commission external authors and maintain communication with editorial boards.
  • Build relationships with professional societies and associations.
  • Stay ahead of competitors in the field.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a degree in medicine, natural sciences, or journalism with relevant work experience in a (medical) editorial setting or agency.
  • Demonstrate excellent German language skills and a passion for language and teaching, with strong writing abilities and knowledge of journalistic styles.
  • Have good written and spoken English skills.
  • Be proactive, interested, creative, and have a confident demeanor.
  • Proficient in office applications and typesetting programs with a willingness to learn new IT systems.
