Our Profile: As the central IT facility of RWTH Aachen University, the IT Center has been synonymous with quality in various areas for over 60 years. The IT Center supports the teaching and research tasks, central processes of the university, and provides basic services and individual services for university institutions.

Your Profile: You have successfully completed a university degree (Master's or equivalent) and have very good knowledge and experience in the fields of Knowledge Management, Student Lifecycle Management, and Quality Management.

  • University structures and processes, especially regarding the Student Lifecycle, are familiar to you, and you have gained diverse experiences in university-wide projects.
  • You have a good understanding of the needs of various groups at the university (including teachers, students, researchers, administration) and enjoy confidently representing the interests and perspectives of different target groups in interdepartmental and inter-facility cooperation.
  • You have extensive experience in advising and supporting international students and prospective students and are familiar with their needs.
  • You ideally have excellent knowledge of RWTHonline, RWTHmoodle, RWTHapp, and basic knowledge of other services related to Student Lifecycle Management (e.g., RWTHjupyter).
  • You have experience in Knowledge Management, and your pronounced (IT) process and quality understanding helps analyze, optimize, or redesign existing processes in Knowledge Management.

Your Tasks: Your tasks within the "Service & Communication" department include:

  • Conceptualizing and establishing an integrated Knowledge Management system consisting of onboarding, training, documentation, and quality assurance processes, considering different groups (Student Assistants, Trainees, Employees) in the "Service & Communication" department.
  • Developing interactive training concepts for the SLCM applications for the IT ServiceDesk and creating a review process for regular evaluation of training and training materials.
