Job Description:


Job Overview:
Momentus Technologies is looking for a full-time Education Specialist.

The Education Services team is looking for a full-time Education Specialist.

Education Specialists work across our resources and products:
creating and updating the knowledge base, developing content for online self-paced courses, and developing and presenting live trainings.

Larger projects tend to be topic-based, with the Specialist deciding what the best resources would be to address this topic and then creating them.

Education Specialists have product knowledge but also collaborate with the product and professional services teams to take advantage of their deep knowledge of the product and its value.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain the product knowledge base, which consists of howto, reference, and explanatory article. This includes updates due to releases and responding to feedback from clients and staff.
  • Develop content for new selfpaced online courses and maintain existing ones.
  • Develop and present periodic live trainings (webinars, "office hours" panel discussions, and virtual instructorled trainings).
  • Stay up to date on how our clients use the product by attending sales demos, shadowing implementations, and taking advantage of other opportunities to learn.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

What makes you a great fit for this role?

  • You can explain complex concepts to people both in writing and orally. You listen, figure out where the learning block is, and reframe your explanations as needed.
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks/projects at once and are able to pivot as needed.
  • You have knowledge of at least one Momentus platform (Enterprise and/or Elite).
  • An understanding of education concepts: information architecture, learning design, curriculum development, and so on.
  • Excellent proofing and editing skills.
  • Experience developing content for online selfpaced courses.
  • Experience using online meeting and webinar software.
  • Experience in recording and editing videos which explain and demonstrate software.
