What You'll Do:


As an HR Payroll Specialist (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the timely and accurate payroll processing for all entities in Germany.

You play a crucial role in global and local projects to improve our services, processes, and systems.


Your duties will include:

  • Performing technical Payroll tasks, such as, but not limited to, tax, social security, maternity, paternity, and others.
  • Providing expert advice and support to customers, peers, stakeholders, and managers, particularly on countryspecific topics, policies, and local laws.
  • Serving as an escalation point for nonstandard cases and processes.
  • Producing evaluations and generating reports to ensure legal compliance and for conducting internal and external audits.
  • Liaising with third parties and external authorities.
  • Monitoring defined audit points of payroll transaction services to ensure legal requirements are met.
  • Assisting in the implementation of payroll relevant project activities.

What You Bring:


  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in payroll administration.
  • Profound knowledge of German Payroll law, practices, and processes.
  • Expertise in technical Payroll processing, including all legally required subsequent activities.
  • Extensive SAP payroll system knowledge (HCM).
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
  • Experience working within an HR customeroriented environment.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A university degree or comparable education/experience in Payroll Accounting, Business, or Human Resources Administration.

As a member of the Payroll Germany team, you'll work collaboratively with 19 professional, supportive, and inclusive colleagues who are committed to achieving excellence.

Our team consists of both full-time and part-time members and is primarily based in Walldorf.

Together, we are responsible for the process of payroll and all supporting tasks for all SAP employees in Germany across various entities.

Our goal is to ensure compliant and efficient payroll operations in an open, collaborative work environment.


Additional information:
the role is
limited as a team member is on maternity/parental leave. We are open for
part-time work with at least 75% / 30 working hours per week.
