As Cloudflight's Vice President for Cloud Solutions you play a pivotal role in driving strategy, innovation and growth at the company.

Your focus will be on developing and implementing strategies how Cloudflight as a service provider can win in the Cloud Solution space.

The role also includes supporting sales and delivery teams with technical guidance and expertise in pre-sales and project support.


You will work closely with the MDs, Heads of Sales and Operations of our Business Units in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Poland in defining and developing our service portfolio, being the functional leader for >100 cloud solution colleagues across all BUs and you will report to the Managing Director of Germany.


Your daily tasks will include

Strategic Leadership:
provide strategic and tactical direction for the Business Line within Cloudflight, aligned with the overall company objectives. Select technologies and services we should invest in and build capacity and skills. Build business cases and drive our growth


Technology Innovation:
drive innovation initiatives for Cloud Solutions keeping Cloudflight at the forefront of technological advancements. Define and build our service portfolio to win new customers, generate additional business and execute projects effectively


Customer Engagement:
collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to understand client needs and propose technology solutions. Organize pre-sales support to sellers and support innovation dialogues with customers. Provide technological guidance to teams


Evangelism:
represent Cloudflight on technology related events as a keynote speaker or panellist. Drive thought leadership in form of content.


Optionally:
be the CLF representative in social media for Cloud Solutions. Inspire customers and talents alike


Partnerships:
define the crucial technology partnerships, required to win in this business line and pursue them vigorously. Effectively manage the partnership once formed


The following will make you succeed in this role

Master's degree preferably in computer science, potentially business administration


relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solution Architect)


minimum 5 years, ideally 10 years' experience in delivering cloud solutions


proven track record in developing strategies and driving growth with innovation


excellent leadership skills including leading teams across functions and geographies


fluency in German and English
