For our Logistics Commercial Europe team, we are now looking for an
Account Support Automotive to be
based primarily in Germany (remote is possivle) and who will report directly to the VP Automotive Global Accounts.


As an Account Support Automotive, you are an integral part of our Account Management team and you will be responsible to steer the deliverables of the annuael strategic goals of the department as well as all standards needed to support a successful development.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Management of the deliverables of the strategic development targets;
  • Documentation of all needed parts of the Automotive accounts as well as change requests;
  • Tracking of CRM entries and correct documentation of all contractual parts of the accounts and projects;
  • Supporting in correct invoicing to customers and running of background checks;
  • Supporting in finalizing offers and presentations for customer projects and RFQ's;
  • Maintaining a complete overview and managing the knowledge center of the Account Management team;
  • Interacting with other Account groups on a global level and following up on projects tasks and deliverables with the Account Management team;
  • Preparing both internal workshops and external meetings with customers;
  • Investigating missing gaps for services to be delivered for customers (both internal and external) and other stakeholders, and initiating escalations where needed;
  • Supporting on special projects and tasks as assigned.

Your Background & Skills

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Development, Logistics or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the Transportation, Logistics and/or Freight Forwarding industry with focus on the automotive industry vertical;
  • Significant commercial/sales experience within Automotive OEMs and a proven track record of having consistently achieved on sales quota at relevant scales;
  • Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio);
  • Familiarity with exposure to and working knowledge of all facets of contractual requirements;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of professional integrity;
  • Detailoriented and resultdriven, with strong collaborative abilities to build good relationships with customers and other internal and external stakeholders;
  • Fluent/professional working proficiency in the German & English language is required, any other European language proficiency is a plus;
  • Based & authorized to work in Germany with the ability of occasional business travel to customers and/or our sites.
