What you will enjoy doing

  • Your main task is project purchasing at our Manufacturing Plant in Germany with supplier search as well as the management and development of suppliers
  • You are the responsible Project Buyer for the material group "Piping" and responsible for the strategic development in this material group
  • Tendering, negotiating, concluding and supervising framework agreements are part of your tasks, as well as ensuring security of supply while taking quality, cost and deadline specifications into account
  • You analyse the procurement markets for the semifinished products area and independently organise the assigned purchasing subdivision
  • You are responsible for supplier audits
  • Another task is processing purchase requisitions and obtaining and evaluating offers in close coordination with the specialist department
  • You prepare and conduct negotiations on terms and conditions, contracts and award contracts according to target specifications
  • The preparation of price comparisons and purchase orders is also part of your tasks, as is the execution of makeorbuy analyses
  • You are responsible for supplier claims

What makes you great

  • You hold a degree in industrial engineering or business administration
  • Experience in the purchasing of production materials is an advantage as well as knowledge of SAP/MM
  • You are able to handle multiple projects
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness are part of your profile
  • You have an analytical, structured and independent way of thinking and acting as well as an affinity for technical topics
  • Your distinctive social competence sets you apart
