YOUR MISSION

  • You work on the preparation of our monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • You develop the booking logic for new and post current business transactions, furthermore you assist in the clarification of balance sheet issues
  • You work on the calculation and bookings of accruals and deferrals, assist in the preparation of the fixed asset registry and intercompany reconciliation
  • You ensure that cost centers are correctly mapped in DATEV and that a reconciliation to management reporting is possible


Together with our tax advisor, you take responsibility for submitting tax reports, including sales taxes, recapitulative statements and tax returns.


  • You communicate with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors and tax consultants
  • You identify optimization potentials and implement changes consistently to improve the productivity of the processes
  • You assist in the preparation of internal reporting and adhoc analyses, as well as the professional development of the team

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have successfully completed commercial training or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, ideally with further education in Finance eg. Bilanzbuchhalter, Finanzbuchhalter, ACCA, CMA, CFA or other relevant accounting certificates
  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting, especially in the area of annual financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Very good accounting knowledge according to HGB, IFRS knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with company and tax audits as well as the management of company audits
  • Good to very good DATEV knowledge
  • You have good communication skills in German and English
