GLAMOUR is looking for an experienced, digitally native journalist and editor with at least 5 years experience editing on a website or magazine and a successful management track record, to join its talented and hard working team.

This role is a people manager role based in Munich. It reports into the European Editorial Director GLAMOUR.

Key duties and responsibilities- Develop and implement GLAMOUR's global editorial strategy across Germany, ensuring the editorial excellence and audience reach across all platforms- Oversee the editorial output - from written tone and visual appearance to volume of stories - across our digital platforms and ensure they are aligned with
- _GLAMOUR'S _values and global vision Work closely with Audience Development and Analytics teams to execute data-driven tactics using analysis tools to increase readership and social engagement, while demonstrating clearly how day-to-day content is driving performance
  • Lead the editorial team within the local market, working closely with the European Editorial Director to oversee local print and digital content
  • Ensure the local team is continually contributing story, talent and strategic ideas to the global network
  • Work closely with the regional and global operations team to plan and manage the local editorial content budget
  • Have a strong commercial understanding and willingness to work hand in hand with the commercial team and advertisers to ensure GLAMOUR's ongoing commercial success
  • Work closely with the regional and global operations team to manage the local editorial team, from pastoral care and career development to team motivation and talent selection
  • Act as inmarket brand ambassador, hosting events and PRing the brand in a positive way both in the press and with advertisers

Requirements:

  • 57 years leading editorial or creative development at a media brand or similar industry Must have a passion for beauty, fashion and wellness content for women and a detailed understanding of the beauty and fashion industry, its major players, and its audience Language skills: Fluent German and Businesslevel English required
