Your tasks

Determination of material parameters and failure criteria for commercial FE-Software
Damage prediction for structural components as well as welding seams
Make finite element calculation for product design
Development of methods for FE calculations
Planning and coordination of experiments
Testing of materials for automotive structures
Material charakterization for theoretical mapping with existing or new test units
Evaluation, documentation and presentation of the results
Supervising student's project works
Planning, implementation and coordination of product development projects internal and with external partners
Professional coordination of external partners (such as universities, institutes, service providers)
Maintaining contacts with universities, research institutions and technology platforms
Supervision of student project work
Innovation scouting

Profile:

Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering (Master or Bachelor with at least 3 years of work experience)
Fundamental knowledge in material analysis and material description
Selfconfident, convincing appearance, methodical and independent way of working
Good in English, written and spoken
