Tätigkeit:

Implementation and execution of complex spatial Big Data analyses
Segmentation, classification and object detection based on Earth observation data using machine learning and deep learning
Working with large volumes of data and heterogeneous data sources to create information products
Advising internal and external customers on solving remote sensing problems and the use of data science in Earth observation
Voraussetzungen:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in geoinformatics, geodesy, geosciences or comparable field of study
Interest and enjoyment in solving complex spatial problems
Practical experience in machine learning, deep learning, and data mining
Experience in processing and analyzing large amounts of data
Very good programming skills for developing and automating (geospatial) data analysis, preferably in Python
Confident handling of earth observation data and geoinformation systems
Logical and analytical thinking skills, Team player with strong communication skills and willingness to learn new Topics,
Very good knowledge of English (C1), German language skills are an advantage
