Laboratory Technician (M/F/d)

What awaits you?
In our laboratories at our customer site in Munich, we work directly with our client, a well-known pharmaceutical company.

Our role is, among other things, the provision of buffers, cell culture media and blood products to support our client in the development of innovative cancer therapies.

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician (f/m/d) immediately. The position is filled for an indefinite period of time with 35 working hours per week.

As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of filter modules, the preparation of cell culture media/buffers, the preparation of blood products and the preparation and cleaning of bioreactors.


As part of a small team, you will be instructed in your tasks in detail and have the opportunity to develop yourself in a targeted manner.

Therefore, for this position, your motivation and willingness to learn are much more important than already existing scientific knowledge.


Tasks and responsibilities:


  • Production of buffers, solutions and cell culture media with subsequent titration, filtration and aliquoting
  • Assembly, disassembly and cleaning of bioreactors
  • Scientific services in lab support (e.g. cleaning of equipment including temperaturecontrolled chambers, biological safety cabinets and laminar flow hoods)
  • Preparation of blood components
  • Documentation of activities performed
  • Collection of full chemical containers
  • Sterilization and autoclaving of various items
  • Maintenance of hollow fiber modules
  • Inventory of chemicals and consumables
  • Follow work processes as outlined by our written procedures
  • Proactively communicates with supervisor any customer concerns and/or potential problems
  • Engage in process improvement activities
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

How will you get here?

Education:


  • Completed education as BTA/CTA or similar education

Experience:


  • Preferably 12 years of equivalent experience, within a laboratory setting or services.
  • Laboratory experience, especially chemistry/biology related

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • High level of commitment and willingness to learn
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Careful, and detailoriented work
  • Reliability
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel)
