About us

Your mission
We are looking for an (Senior) AI Regulatory Analyst as part of our newly founded Team on Trustworthy AI.

The team follows the mission to enable Trustworthy AI at scale by operationalizing the upcoming AI Regulation (focussing on the EU AI Act) and by initiating trust-building activities from a user-perspective.

It belongs to the broader area of MLOperations where we work alongside our colleagues on the ML processes, engineering and infrastructure.

We are in direct exchange with ministries on the state and national level, standardization bodies, as well as policy makers at EU level.


  • Building up expertise about the AI Act and AIrelated European and international law
  • Collaborating with appliedAI colleagues and partners to establish defendable interpretations of the new obligations and requirements
  • Driving the development and implementation of methods and tools to facilitate compliance with AI Regulation
  • Engaging with policymakers in on the state, federal
- and EU- level about the implementing the AI Regulation

  • Screening and evaluating new standards on AI
  • Support in designing and operating a AI Regulatory Sandbox

Your profile

  • LL. M. or PhD in Law with a focus on Digital Technologies, preferably AI
- ideally +2-3 years of experience as legal practitioner, ideally in technology related domains or corporate Research and Development

  • Solid understanding of European Law including the structures and processes in Brussels
  • A decent understanding about AI/ML Technologies and associated risks and benefits
  • Confident to bring in legal expertise in diverse teams with business leaders, engineers and other stakeholders in the AI Ecosystem
  • Excited about the opportunity to drive the Legal-Tech Ecosystem in Europe
  • Fluent in English
  • Committed to learning new things and technologies
  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude across disciplines

Nice to have:

  • A personal network in the political, academic and technological domain
  • Existing involvement in policymaking in the field of AI
  • Experience as a founder or ML Engineer or Data Scientist
  • German language skills
