Are you a creative and digitally talented communicator ready to lead the global digital communications and content strategy for two major Dow businesses?
As we navigate the evolving landscape of B2B communications, we need a strategic digital practitioner who has demonstrated the use of digital and content to generate leads, engagement, and reputation gains, and is excited to work with the team to use all tools and data available to positively impact business outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Global Communications Director for Industrial Intermediates & Infrastructure (II&I), you will be an integral part of our cross-functional team, working with colleagues around the globe.
However, we are also open to filling this role in Terneuzen (Netherlands) and will also consider other major Dow locations North America.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead strategy: Craft and execute a global digital communications and content strategies for PU and DIS, aligned with business and marketing growth strategy.
- Drive implementation: Set clear milestones and annual goals to ensure successful execution of the digital strategy, guiding the team towards achieving our vision. Strategically deploy a team of agency partners to meet the communications goals, serving as focal point and managing budget and agency performance.
- Enhance digital content for owned channels: Create and manage a strategic content calendar for PU and DIS, ensuring consistency of messaging across multiple markets. Represent the businesses on Dow's Content Advisory Board, working with corporate and business representatives to help drive an integrated approach to storytelling across Dow's communications channels.
- Advance the digital transformation: Bring latest learnings, trends, tools and analytics and refresh how we use digital to influence business context, differentiate the Dow brand, and drive customer engagement.
- Measure performance: Track and share performance analytics across all relevant sites and platforms, coaching the business communications and marketing teams on insights to be gained and improvements to be made.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience and proven track record in digital communications strategy, and program and channel management.
- Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, coupled with a strength for creative storytelling.
- Deep understanding of emerging digital trends, tools, and analytics
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures, functions, and time zones and successfully operate in a matrixed organization with mínimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Inquisitiveness coupled with the desire to continually improve systems, platforms, processes, etc.
- Proficiency in managing external agency partners.
- Fluent in English and German or Dutch.
