**Job Description Summary**

DEUTSCH
- Der Indirect Buyer (m/w/d) ist für die Beschaffung von Waren, Materialien und Dienstleistungen verantwortlich, sowie Investitionen im Wert von ca. EUR 10 Mio. jährlich.
- Der Indirect Buyer (m/w/d) wird von unserer europäischen Zentrale in Langen (Hessen) aus arbeiten und Produktionsstandorte in Deutschland betreuen.
- Zu den Hauptaufgaben gehören die Bearbeitung von Anfragen, die Lösung von Problemstellungen in der Beschaffung und die Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von AAM-Beschaffungsrichtlinien und -verfahren.

ENGLISH
- The Indirect Buyer (m/w/d) will be responsible for sourcing goods, materials and services, and additionally handle Capex investment worth approximately EUR 10m annually.
- The position holder will be working out of our European Headquarters in Langen (Hessen), serving production sites across Germany.
- Core tasks in the position will include processing requisitions, resolving procurement issues and ensuring adherence to AAM procurement policies and procedures.

**DEUTSCH**
- Beschaffung von Waren, Materialien, Dienstleistungen und Investitionsgütern gemäß den AAM Beschaffungsrichtlinien und -verfahren
- Sicherstellen, dass Lieferanten Kosten
- und Zeitziele während des Beschaffungsprozesses einhalten
- Überprüfung und Bearbeitung eingehender Bestellanforderungen, Aktualisierung von Bestellungen bei Änderungen
- Kontaktaufnahme mit Lieferanten und Geschäftspartnern zur Klärung von Themen wie überfälligen Bestellungen, Preis-/Rechnungsinkonsistenzen, Aktualisierung/Erweiterung von Bedarfsanfragen usw.
- Unterstützung bei der Einholung von Angeboten und Bewertung von Angeboten für Artikel oberhalb der Angebotsschwelle, die nicht unter Vertrag stehen, sowie für Artikel, die nicht in den globalen Beschaffungsprozess des Category Management fallen
- Selbstständige Abwicklung des Tagesgeschäfts im Einkauf, Unterstützung bei eher technischen oder strategischen Einkäufen
- Durchführung regelmäßiger und ad-hoc Kontrollen zur Überwachung der Preisgestaltung, der Lieferung und wichtiger, vertraglich festgelegter Kennziffern
- Überwachung der Einhaltung der Richtlinien und Verfahren des Geschäftsbereichs und der Beschaffung
- Vorantreiben von Kostensenkungs
- und Einsparungsinitiativen in den Produktionsstandorten unter Verwendung von KVP-, VA/VE- und Market-Basket-Methoden
- Durchführung von Aktivitäten zur Verwaltung des Lebenszyklus von Verträgen und Bestellungen, z. B. Berichterstattung über auslaufende/überholte Bestellungen/Verträge, Verwaltung von Bestellungen/ Verträgen (Bereinigung/Schließung) usw.
- Unterstützung von Beschaffungsinitiativen europa
- bzw. weltweit
- Andere Aufgaben wie zugewiesen

**ENGLISH**
- Source goods, materials, services and Capex according to AAM procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure suppliers meet cost and timing targets throughout the sourcing process
- Review and process incoming requisitions/POs and update POs with changes
- Liaise with suppliers and business partners to resolve issues such as past-due POs, price/invoice inconsistencies, updating/incrementing POs etc.
- Support the solicitation of quotes and evaluation of bids for items above the bid threshold not under contract, and those outside of the global category-management sourcing process
- Handle purchasing daily business autonomously and support colleagues with more technical or strategic purchasing
- Perform regular and ad hoc compliance checks to monitor pricing, delivery and important metrics outlined in contracts
- Monitor compliance with business unit and procurement policies and procedures
- Drive cost reduction and saving initiatives in the production sites using CIP, VA/VE and Market Basket methodologies
- Implement contract and PO lifecycle management activities, e.g. reporting for expiring/aged POs/contracts, execution of contract/PO administration/clean up/closure etc.
- Support procurement initiatives across Europe/globally
- Other activities as assigned

**Required Skills and Education**

**DEUTSCH**
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossener Bachelor-Abschluss der Betriebswirtschaftslehre (oder ähnlich)
- Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Einkäufer (m/w/d) in der Einkaufsabteilung eines Fertigungsunternehmens
