Who we are looking for:

Welcome to one of the most exciting New Space companies in Europe with a great vision: 600 satellites for a global low-earth-orbit connectivity network.

The satellites will be connected via satellite laser links to communicate directly in space. A constellation like this has never been set up before.
Our customers will benefit from ultra-low latencies, high speeds, unparalleled security, and true global coverage. The satellites will be launched between 2024 and 2028.

Now we are looking for the best talents for our location in Munich to make our vision come true.

Your mission:

The Operational Systems Officer (all genders) oversees the implementation of ground systems, interacting and coordinating with the Ground Segment provider and the Satellite Operations team.

You contribute to the verification and validation of the operational systems, and identify and develop interfaces between systems and other segments.

This includes:

Assist the Ground Segment provider with the design and implementation of the ground systems
Work with the Ground Segment provider to identify and fix complex hardware and software implementation problems
Participate in the definition and design of a stateoftheart spacecraft operations center
Interact with all the stakeholders to support the software acceptance process and act as liaison between development and final users
Preparation of low level design documentation and operational procedures

What you bring on the table?:

Experience designing, developing and maintaining space operational systems
Advanced knowledge of spacecraft operations in Low Earth Orbit, and related Systems Engineering and Flight Dynamics
Experience in scripting languages
Knowledge of spacecraft and network simulators
Project management skills
Dynamic and proactive attitude, able to work in a startup environment
Excellent written and spoken English, German is a plus
