Area of responsibility:

In your function, you will have overall responsibility for the entire business segment "Mining & Wind Tunnel"

Strategic and operational management of the business segment
Disciplinary management of directly assigned employees and managers
Responsibility for the budgets of the respective cost centers
Ensuring the training and development of the respective employees
Coordination of the interaction of various technical and commercial disciplines from sales, preparation of quotations, design, order processing and manufacturing to assembly and commissioning of our fans and ventilation systems
Actively supporting the further development of our products, taking profit aspects and customer requirements into account
With a view to continuous expansion of our global market position, you will actively participate in project acquisition, negotiate difficult contracts and maintain customer contact.
Support of the global subsidiaries in the development of independent business, especially in sales planning, regional product strategy, sales, preparation of quotations and technology transfer

Qualification and experience:

University degree in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
Profound knowledge and many years of professional experience, preferably in the field of systems engineering or mining
Business experience in an international environment
Ideally already successful work in a management function
Business management skills and experience with modern project management methods
Customerfriendly appearance, ability to change, negotiation skills, assertiveness and team spirit
Structured and solutionoriented approach to work
Confident handling of common MS Office programs as well as ERP systems (e.g. SAP, IFS)
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel of approx. 25%
