For our Industrial Project Manager Team within the Business Line Radio Frequency Processing (RFP) in Hamburg, we have an opening for an
Industrial Project Coordinator , **in which you will support teams creating new RF ICs, especially Radars, but also Radio for Car systems and Health solutions.

The Radar business is rapidly growing and NXP built up a leader position in this segment; this job openings main target is to setup and drive industrial workstreams (e.g. overall sample management, cost downs, industrial innovation streams), serving multiple products across our product lines.

Your Team:

You are part of an experienced team of industrial project managers, with broad background in project management, product and test engineering.

You will act alternatively in an independent way or with small teams as first, but always in close interaction with other industrial and project managers and R&D teams.

Your Responsibilities:

Industrial Project Coordinator IC / Industrial workstreams.

As primary responsibilities, we are looking for following tasks:

Samples and configuration coordination
Cost downs or second sources projects coordination
Innovation project streams

As an example, sample coordination comprises stakeholders alignment, planning, ordering and tracking of the delivery of engineering samples (these are prototypes we use to validate our design or towards customers) from the different manufacturing sites around the globe.

You will be responsible for the coordination of all activities from start to shipment, including forecasting capacity demand. Setting up and supporting a global way of working within the whole business line would be the next step.

There is the possibility to expand your role in different workstreams within the projects, growing ownership and developing within the project management career path, which is well recognized and promoted within NXP.

This could include for example project planning and execution for the product development phase in industrial aspects, readiness towards product release and volume ramp-up for the manufacturing phase.

Your Profile:

Electronic, semiconductors, logistics or economics degree, master level preferred, up to but not more than 2 years of experience
Certification or education in project management
Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Word
VBA (esp. Excel Macro) programming skills of advantage
First experience or knowledge in Semiconductor Industry, assembly is an asset
Languages: Fluent in English; German and/or Dutch optional
Good communication, overview, as well as wellstructured organization is key in our complex environment
Analytic capabilities, creative, rapid learner
Enthusiastic, team player, happy to work in international and virtual teams
