ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE:

You are a German Native Speaker with strong English skills who has the energy to work in a fast-paced environment? Then this role might be for you


We are seeking a conceptual Social Media Copywriter who will work as part of a team for a FMCG client, reporting into the Creative Director.

This role is currently remote (and has an option to stay remote). The team is currently looking at going back to the office for 1-2 days a week soon. You will be located in our unit in Heidelberg, Germany. You'll be part of an international team that is responsible for creating digital formats as well as classic print.


You'll build and set the standard for creative, engaging and targeted copy to be used across a wide range of marketing content and write strong copy and ideate content.

The focus areas will be to write social media short copy and engaging medical online articles, create compelling communication concepts to detailed sales materials for global consumer brands.


You have a strong sense for brand tonality and know how to keep a brands tone and voice throughout all media and channels.

You know how to set the tone for young target groups and you enjoy inclusive writing as much as you have an edge for scientific and healthcare related topics.


What you will be doing:

  • Work with the creative team
  • Write, research and conceptualise creative, innovative content that engages and encourages sharing.
  • Produce short and long form materials for consumers, across a wide range of media including social media, digital sales material, websites, videos and animations, digital media, POS, sales materials and print.
  • Experience in repurposing existing content for different uses and markets.
  • Deliver projects closely with the Creative Director and Digital Designers to ensure creative excellence.
  • Awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content.
  • Develop and maintain reference packs and proofreading documents,
What you need to be great in this role:

  • Native German Speaker with excellent English Skills
  • Strong experience writing for digital. Must be comfortable creating short and longform content with Social Media in mind.
  • Confident presenting and communicating clearly to clients.
  • A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to write for healthcare brands
  • Experience of writing for digital, display, social media channels and websites.
  • A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums.
  • Able to use data and insight to inform creative copy.
  • The ability to think conceptually. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences.
  • Excellently organised and able to plan work effectively.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
