What you'll do
***:

  • You will be responsible for leading the team of Global Sourcing & Category Managers for CAPEX and MRO categories
  • Improving processes, tools and templates in your own area of responsibility with a special focus on procurement, supplier and category management
  • Your responsibilities include the definition and continuous review of the governance model and spend taxonomy for Knauf's global CAPEX and MRO
  • In your role you will provide a detailed overview of the global CAPEX budget and global analysis of the markets
  • Furthermore you will ensure the best possible procurement processes within your own team by bundling all Knauf demand, creating competition and ensuring meaningful cost transparency

Who you are:


  • You have established the groundwork for your professional journey through your studies in engineering, supply chain, economics, finance, or procurement
  • Very good leadership skills combined with a winning and convincing attitude are among your strengths
  • Strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of the relevant markets and suppliers will distinguish you
  • You have indepth knowledge of procurement methods and concepts, business partnering and category management for indirect materials as well as a high affinity for technical MRO and engineering equipment
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel 30% round off your profile
