Project business is the heart of our company and regarding financials you as a project accountant provide guidance and support for our commercial project community.

From order intake over execution phase to revenue recognition, you are the trusted business partner, reliable service provider and contact person.

How You'll Make an Impact

In your role as (Senior) Project Accountant (f/m/d) you will be responsible for the periodic financial statements relating to project business within Siemens Energy in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
You will act as a reliable business partner for all project related inquiries, provide guidance for complex business models and perform reconciliations of construction projects.
You will evaluate and assess new orders and contract constellations from an accounting perspective.
You will act as contact person for auditors and tax authorities, being the interface to the business.
You will support the management in decision making and evaluating complex business transactions.
You will support the development and introduction of a new ERP landscape in your area of responsibility, focusing on accounting matters relating to project business accounting.

What You Bring

Desire and motivation to work in an evolving and dedicated team
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Long years experience in the field of General Ledger Accounting
Work experience of SAP advantageous for this role
IFRS and local GAAP accounting knowledge
Fluent German and English skills
