Research assistant/ PhD Student (f/m/d)

Are you interested in embedded systems and would you like to help shape and research the computer architectures of the future?

The group "Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems" uses reconfigurable hardware (FPGAs) to research new technologies for embedded systems and is looking for scientific staff in the following areas:

Future architectures for low-power edge AI
Design of FPGAbased partially dynamically reconfigurable systems
Energy efficient systems
Reliable digital hardware systems
Hardware Security

You can expect ambitious international team, flat hierarchies, TVL-E13 100% pay as well as the possibility to do a PhD.

Your tasks

Your job tasks include:

Participation in one or more interesting and interdisciplinary research projects
Participation in university education, mainly by guiding and involving students (Bachelor & Master)

Profile:

For being part of the selection process is needed:

Completed university studies (Dipl./Master) in the fields of computer science or electrical engineering, as well as related fields

Following competences are desirable:

Openmindedness, independent working style, commitment, willingness to learn, communication and team skills
Good written and spoken English knowledge
