    Our client is a globally leading asset management firm headquartered in Frankfurt.

    Tasks

    • Implement audit plans for assigned areas and ad-hoc engagements.
    • Lead complex audit assignments, overseeing projects, defining risk-based audit areas, and examining business transactions, workflows, processes, and control systems.
    • Identify deficiencies and vulnerabilities, analyze audit findings, propose solutions, and conduct closing meetings.
    • Ensure audits progress as planned and align with applicable standards.
    • Adhere to audit policies and standards (independence, integrity, confidentiality, truth and fairness, security, economy, system conformity).
    • Ensure follow-up on audit recommendations to ensure proper implementation by the auditee.
    • Assist in updating audit methods, initiating workflow, process, security, and control system improvements, and promoting best practices.
    • Manage relationships with auditees and establish expertise and partnership with the business.
    • Communicate with stakeholders across all levels of hierarchy.
    • Enhance knowledge across various business lines and contribute added value to the business.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in internal/external audit, consulting, or equivalent roles.
    • Several years' experience in finance-related functions, asset management, and corporate governance.
    • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or equivalent field.
    • Audit certification (CIA, CFA, CISA) preferred.
    • Demonstrated management skills in audit planning.
    • Strong analytical skills and understanding of processes, structures, and regulatory environments.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to empathize with the auditee's perspective.
    • Proficient in IT skills and Office applications.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English; German language proficiency is beneficial.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
