Who we are:

As Truck Connectivity IT, we are responsible for the development, testing and operation of innovative digital services for ICE and ZEV trucks.

We develop these in cross-functional global teams.

Our vision is to create the future connectivity experience for Daimler Trucks by providing a highly scalable, reliable and secure connectivity platform.

Connectivity plays a central role at Daimler Trucks.

Many innovative services such as Fleetboard, the Mercedes-Benz Truck App Portal or autonomous driving are based on connectivity and data from the trucks and buses.

The Mercedes-Benz Truck App Portal product in particular helps our customers to distribute customized solutions for their logistics processes as over-the-air updates in their vehicle fleet and thus adapt the functional scope of their vehicles to their current needs at any time.

We work with the latest cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), organize ourselves in DevSecOps teams and use practices.

As a team, we consist of seven highly motivated and sociable colleagues and we value collaboration, openness and getting things done.

We regularly use mobile working.

Coordination of functional and non-functional requirements with internal and external stakeholders
Creating user:in stories and providing technical guidance for implementation by the external development team
Testing and ensuring of a sustainable validation of development increments after the completion of the sprints
Analyzing error cases in the complex environment of backend service and onboard devices
Creating and securing an architecture roadmap for digital services
Developing automated operating concepts (Azure DevOps, test automation) in collaboration with suppliers
Collaboration with international software teams and guilds
