The Metropolitan International School is looking for an
enthusiastic and
dedicated Primary teacher, for our successful and established Primary department.

About the school:

The Metropolitan International School (MIS) is a private, non profit, state accredited, full-time school with Nursery, Kindergarten, Preschool, Primary and Secondary.

Our Primary department, established in 2007, has pupils from preschool - Grade 4, and teaches in English, German and Spanish languages.

The MIS is an accredited school within both the German state, and Cambridge International Examinations. Providing a dual curriculum for students, through Primary until Grade 12.

Available position:

Permanent, full time position as primary teacher in English.

Requirements:

Teaching qualification is essential

Native English speaker

Proven experience in teaching the relevant age group

Outstanding commitment and ability to engage students and assist in developing their social, creative and academic skills

Eligible to work in the Germany (must have valid visa)

Experience in international or intercultural education
Strong classroom management skills
Commitment to a high level of student achievement
Skills to assist pupils in navigating an international, culturallydiverse environment
Experience in second language acquisition
