Akrion Technologies is expanding the sales team in Europe, adding
Key Account Representatives to strengthen our business relationships with key accounts in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.


Location

Due to the nature of this position, a close geographical proximity to our customer's manufacturing sites in either
Manchester England or
Hamburg Germany is a requirement.


Job Summary:

Key Account Representatives are responsible for all aspects of our relationship with key semiconductor manufacturer sites. High level goals include.
- account retention through improved customer satisfaction
- account development through up-selling and cross-selling of our products
- continuous improvement of multiple product lines through customer needs analysis
- strategic planning through forecasting customer needs


Activities:


Responsibilities:


The key account representative has overall responsibility for the business relationship and relies on excellent communications with management and colleagues to execute plans.

The main deliverables are,

  • Creation and maintenance of customer organizational charts and business process flows.
  • Editing meeting reports and regular activity reports.
  • Creation and maintenance of CRM opportunities.
  • Participation in the creation and maintenance of both tactical and strategic plans.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry, or other relevant field.
  • 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • A prior position as a process or equipment engineer in the wet area, deposition or dry etch is a plus.
  • Empathy and a desire to work with others.
  • Willingness to take ownership in difficult situations.
  • Selfmotivation and time management skills are key to this customersitebased position.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer needs assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills specifically in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and tactics for promoting products and services.
  • Experience with SAP is appreciated.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently in Europe, China and North America.
  • Strategic and flexible approach to project management.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hamburg: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Semiconductor: 3 years (preferred)
  • Sales: 2 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (preferred)
