The team for you to join

You will support the expert team in analytics within the Research and Development Department of the HMO Business Unit in Chr.

Hansen which is part of the Chr. Hansen "Health and Nutrition" division. As a student worker you will work in the field of routine HMO analysis encircling sample preparation and analysis. Thereby, you will be part of an interdisciplinary R&D team. We are now searching for enthusiastic and entrepreneurial people ambitious to contribute in innovative techniques and products.

Your future role will include:

Sample preparation of different sample types (Milk, Fermentation samples; MTP plates)
Routine lab works (e.g. buffer preparation)
Supporting HPLC and LCMS analysis
Maintenance and cleaning of lab equipment (e.g. glassware)
Ordering consumables for analytics (e.g. solvents, columns)

Who are we looking for?

You have a higher education within science, ideally a Bachelor of Science in applied life science, biology, biochemistry or biotechnology.

First experience in analytical techniques would be a plus.

Furthermore:

You are highly motivated and curious in science, you are willing to work interdisciplinary, and it is your ambition to keep your projects in time.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your documentation is reliable.
It is your ability to work selfdependent as well as in a team.
You speak English fluently; German is a benefit.
Personally, you are a selfdriven, energetic and pragmatic team player. As our team is international, you are fluent in English. We expect that you bring a proactive and execution personality with a cando attitude. You are structured as a person with a disciplined attitude and you are highly accurate in your performance.
