Responsibilities:

Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.

Specific Duties


In this project, the overarching goal is to implement quantum computing in Rydberg-based qubits in an optimized fashion, under realistic conditions of current experiments.

The specialist sought for this position will advance this objective and develop parallel efforts in ion systems.

Furthermore, the opportunity to develop the theory of superconductors and superconducting qubits is given, ranging from many-body dynamics to quantum technology.


Requirements:

A university degree in a relevant field plus doctorate.

Excellent knowledge of quantum physics, many-body quantum dynamics, including numerical methods and driven dynamics, and solid state physics. Previous, documented activities in some or all of these fields is preferred. Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and collegial interaction with collaborators.
