How You'll Make an Impact

Literature study
Comparison of different optimization methods
Familiarization with the existing internal design tool for transformers
Validation of your results
Document your work and results by writing and submitting your master ́s thesis

What You Bring

Currently enrolled in a University to undertake a master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or any other similar fields
Basic knowledge about optimization algorithms
Good theoretical understanding of transformers and power electronic converters
Previous experience in power electronics or transformer design preferred (related topics in bachelor ́s thesis, university projects, job experience, lectures, etc.)
High level of motivation to work on cuttingedge power electronics technology
Ability and willingness to learn new fields
Ability to work independently and with high internal motivation in a dynamic environment
Fluent in English, German is a plus
