Professorship (W 3) for Artificial Intelligence

to be filled at the earliest possible date.

The future holder of the professorship is a member of the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence ("hessian.
AI") and provides his/her research services within the center.

The center, which is supported by 13 Hessian universities of different types, bundles the existing strengths in AI research in Hesse, Germany.

The state of Hesse is providing 38 million euros for the five-year start-up phase and is permanently establishing a total of 20 additional professorships.

The goal of the center is to provide excellent basic research in AI, concrete practical relevance with answers to important challenges of our time, and transfer to the economy and society.
