Global Energy & Sustainability Procurement Lead
Industry Leading Consumer Goods Organization
Location - Madrid, ES (Relocation required, relcoation cost covered by client)
Salary - €80k-€90k Base salary + Bonus & Benefits
Are you a procurement professional with a passion for sustainability and driving businesses to achieve their optimal potential in carbon offset whilst still bringing value to the company?
If so, this position in Global Energy & Sustainability Procurement will give you the best opportunity to drive down costs, add value and simultaneously improve the company's ESG agenda.
As the Global Energy & Sustainability Procurement Lead, you will be the single point of contact in the business for all energy procurement requirements, handling an annual spend of over €300M and global energy usage of 1.6 TW.
To be successful in the position of Global Energy & Sustainability Procurement Lead you should:
- have experience leading a global energy portfolio in a commercial role with experience in consolidating global energy purchasing requirements; preferably procurement but with backgrounds in trading or sales could be considered
- Expert knowledge of PPA, energy audits, green/renewable energy, and longterm renewable energy purchasing and investment strategies
- be passionate about sustainability in order to be a key business partner to internal executive stakeholders in manufacturing, engineering, R&D, supply chain and more
