Beschreibung
Tasks:
- Participate in the preparation of the company's consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Solvency II reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with our overseas businesses and provide IFRS, consolidation, and Solvency II guidance to local accounting departments.
- Support project streams for Groupwide new standard implementation
- Help with the Group's IFRS 9/17 implementation (reporting of figures in parallel runs as well as standardisation and automation of processes)
- Interact with internal departments such as Investor Relations, Controlling, and Risk, as well as external auditors
Qualifications:
- A strong university education in accounting, economics, or a similar discipline is required.
- English (written and spoken) and German are both fluent.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Solvency II, and IFRS 9/17 is a plus.
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities
- Resultorientated and the ability to operate under time constraints and meet deadlines
- Team player who is openminded, aggressive, and organised, and who is capable of prioritising workload
- Experience in a group accounting function or a big four firm is preferred.
