Job ID 72931 | Location Heidenheim | Starting september for a period of 4 to 6 months

More than 400 million tonnes of paper are produced worldwide every year. Paper products are based on renewable raw materials and can be recycled several times.

As a market leader in the construction of paper machines, the conservation of resources and the efficiency of our products and technologies are drivers for new developments.

Your tasks

Get involved with the topic of "sustainability in the paper industry" one of the most important future topics of Voith Paper.
Support the R&D department in researching the effects and opportunities of closed water cycles in the paper mill.
Expand and complete a system simulation model of the water cycle and carry out parameter investigations.
Document and communicate your findings and make recommendations on further investigation and development steps.
Willingness for occasional day trips to colleagues (M/F/d) at our locations in Ravensburg and Munich as well as to customers.

Your profile

Enrolled student (M/F/d) of an engineering or natural science degree programme, with a focus on hydrochemistry, process engineering, environmental or paper technology and interested in a compulsory internship or writing a thesis.
Very good knowledge of MS Office and interest in modelling and/or programming; initial experience in these areas is a plus.
Good written and spoken German and English skills are a prerequisite.
Ability to analyse, enjoy crossfunctional cooperation and communication in teams as well as proactive and conscientious working style.
Passion for sustainability and resource conservation and enjoy developing creative solutions.
